  James Earl Stafford was my husband, William Lee Stafford's brother. Jim was tragically killed in an automobile accident in March 1963, shortly after his 21st birthday on February 14, 1963. He was the son of Hazel Jean (Cascaddan) Stafford and Lee Franklin Stafford and lived in Leonard, Michigan. Jim never married. There were 5 children in that family: Darlene Jean (Stafford) Wilson, Mary Lee Stafford, who died as an infant and is buried in Mt. Avon Cemetery in Rochester, Michigan on Owen and Mary Murphy's lot without a marker, William Lee Stafford, b. September 8, 1940, James Earl Stafford, b. February 14, 1942, in Pontiac, MI and died March _, 1963 near Leonard, MI, and Ronald Dean Stafford, a Vietnam War Veteran. After the death of Lee Franklin Stafford, his wife, Hazel Jean, married Rheuben Griffin of Lakeville, MI. One daughter, Sharon Kay Griffin was born of that marriage.    Note: Headstone is in good condition. It is south of his parents graves.
