Isabel Stafford Morian, age 95 of Beaumont, Texas died Tuesday, May 27, 2014.
A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was born on August 10, 1918 to Belle Hart Bunting Stafford and William Herbert Stafford.
Ibby attended Shipley School, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and then later, Lamar University. She married Clarke H. Morian in 1940 and moved to Beaumont in 1956.
Ibby had many loves. She loved her friends, she loved her church, she loved creating beautiful artwork, she loved her four legged family members, but most of all she cherished her family. Ibby spread joy everywhere she went touching everyone with a ray of sunshine. She was involved with the Lamar Friends of the Arts, the Dishman Gallery, the Art Museum of Southeast Texas, the Magnolia Garden Club, the Humane Society, and the Colonial Dames. Isabel had a strong faith and sincere adoration for all of God's creatures.
Survivors include her sons, Clarke H. and William S., Matthew C., and we daughter, Isabel Miriam Lamb, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and her four footed side kick, Daisy.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and husbands, Clarke H. Morian and John W. Millington.
A funeral service for Mrs. Morian will be at 10am Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church, 4090 Delaware Street in Beaumont, Texas.
A gathering of her family and friends will follow her service in Broce Hall at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, later a private family interment will take place.
