• Notes

  United States Army Soldier. He served during World War II as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army Air Forces, 328th Bomber Squadron, 93rd Bomber Group, Heavy. He was posthumously awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross with Oak Leaf Cluster, and the Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters. He lies interred today in the Ardennes American Cemetery and Memorial. Neuville-en-Condroz, Liege Province, Belgium in Plot C, Row 24, Grave 14. His family erected a cenotaph to him in their family plot in West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
