  Michael Jon Stafford is the son of the late Alva and Julia McLean Stafford. He was retired from the Los Angeles County Fire Department, a former employee of Mammoth Cave National Park, and retired from the US Postal Service in Glasgow. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served overseas in the Vietnam War and for that service earned the Purple Heart, Silver Star and Bronze Star. Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother and will be missed beyond words. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Eric Stafford. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife, a son, a daughter, a stepdaughter, a stepson, five grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, his very special step-grandson who lovingly knew him as “Grandma Mikes”, and his sister. Funeral services held October 22, 2014 at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Military honors held at the Cemetery.
