- ELSIE J. REBER
Elsie J. Stafford Davis Reber, 60 of Taylorville died April 21, 1987 in Springfield, Illinois.
Mrs. Reber was born January 17, 1927 in St. Augustine, Flordia, a daughter of Joseph and Mae Stafford. She first married Mr. Davis, she next married William Dale Reber, July 3, 1976 and he preceded his wife in death August 13, 1985. She was affiliated the the Free Methodist Church.
She is survived by daughters Barbara Davis and Kathy Mantell both of Taylorville; sons Larry Davis of Taylorville and Richard of East Moline; brother Bill Stafford and sister Mrs. Lucille Kitchens, both of St. Augustine, Flordia, eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Sutton Memorial Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday April 24, 1987 with the Rev. Robert Samuel officiating . Internment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mother of David William, Richard Lee, and Don Anthony Davis-deceased-and Kathleen Ann Davis Mantell, Larry Joe, and Barbara Jill Davis-living.
