Buried:
- Died 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 1984, at her residence in Baton Rouge. She was 82, and a native of Walker.
Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 9:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday, and 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Religious services at Walker Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. H.B. Wilkinson and the Rev. Mike Wethey. Burial in Hiram Stafford Cemetery, Walker.
Survived by three daughters, Mrs. Roy (Jean) Morgan, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Charles (Hilda) Patterson, Des Allemands, and Mrs. Yvonne Day, Walker; four sons, Harold L. Wascom, Baton Rouge, Alex Wascom, Des Allemands, Gerald Wascom, Hebert Springs, Ark., and Billy Wascom, Houston, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Stevie Milton, Mrs. Velma Derouen, both of Walker, and Mrs. Ethel Carter, Baton Rouge; two brothers, Adolphus and Bowers Stafford, both of Walker; 23 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband, Ivy W. Wascom.
She was a member of Walker Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Stafford, Darwin Deaton, Lynnwood Stafford, Herbert Forbes Jr., C.C. Cockerham, and Clyde Cockerham.
