- MUNCIE - Josette Daniels, 61, lifelong resident of Blackford and Delaware County died at 12:45 a.m. Monday, November 10, 2008 at Ball Memorial Hospital.
She was born on May 6, 1947 in Muncie to Eugene "Gene" Stafford and Betty Jo (Thornburg) Stafford. Her father precedes her in death on August 31, 1995.
Josette graduated from Hartford City High School in 1965 and had attended Ball State University.
She was a member of the AMVETS Auxiliary in Hartford City and the American Legion Auxiliary in Hartford City.
Josette was a homemaker and mother.
She enjoyed decorating and gardening and loved spending time with her friends.
Josette was loved by her family and will be sadly missed by her mother, Betty Jo Stafford of Hartford City; her daughters, Aimee R.S. Daniels of Fishers; Danielle R. (husband, Derek) Palmer of Noblesville; granddaughters, Dilan Palmer, Drewe Palmer, Devyn Palmer and Dani Palmer; and her sister, Annette Stafford of Hartford City.
Memorial Visitation for Josette will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St., Hartford City.
There will be a private Memorial Service Wednesday, November 12, 2008, with Rev. Nancy Middaugh officiating.
Josette will be cremated and her cremains will be interred at Hartford City Cemetery on the family lot at a later date.
