Buried:
- Died 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 1976, at Baton Rouge General Hospital. She was 71, a resident and native of Walker. Body at Seale's Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Friday. Religious services will be held at the Walker Baptist Church, Walker, at 11 a.m. Friday conducted by Rev. Herman Wilkinson. Burial in the Stafford Cemetery, Walker.
Survived by her husband, Herbert Forbes Sr., Walker; two sons, H.H. Forbes Jr., Walker, and Bobby Forbes, Walker; four sisters, Mrs. Camilla Wascom, Walker, Mrs. Velma DeRouen, Beaumont, Tex., Mrs. Ethel Carter, Baton Rouge and Mrs. Stevie Milton, Walker; three brothers, Adolphus and Virgil Stafford, both of Walker and Bowers Stafford, Livingston; five grandchildren.
Member of the Walker Baptist Church.
Pallbearers are Harold Wascom, Bowess T. Stafford, Marvin Carter, Delree Wascom, C. C. Cockerham Jr. and Wayne Stafford.
