Virginia Beach - Evelyn Comfort Stafford, 85, went to be with the Lord November 11, 2011. She was born to the late Truman David and Dorothy Felker Comfort. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Truman D. Comfort, Jr. She was a retired hairstylist, loved to sew, knit and crochet, was an avid cookbook collector; and a born again Christian.
Left to cherish her memory is a daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Butcher; numerous extended family members and close friends; and her beloved cat, Baby.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Rosewood Memorial Park. There will be no formal visitation however you may visit Graham Funeral Home to pay your respects to Mrs. Stafford from Saturday through Monday, 9 am to 9 pm.
