Mrs. Ida Metts
Services for Mrs. Ida Tincher Metts, 82, of 923 Cherokee Road, Louisville are pending at Harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel.
She died at the Twinbrook Nursing Home, Louisville, at 1 p.m. Saturday following a long illness.
A native of Bath County, she was born December 10, 1893, the daughter of the late Mary Otis Tincher and Henry Tincher. She was the widow of Grover Metts, Sr. and was a member of the Thornhill Baptist Church.
Ida is survived by five sons; Grover Metts, Jr., Lexington, Kentucky; Leon Metts, Louisville, Kentucky; Joseph R. Metts, Marion Franklin Metts and Joe B. Metts, all of Frankfort; two daughters, Mrs. Louise King, Lexington, Kentucky and Mrs. Lena Mae Torsch, Louisville, Kentucky; one brother, Conner Tincher, Owingsville, Kentucky; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Ida Tincher Metts, 82, of Louisville, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Roy Lyons, officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in the Frankfort Cemetery. Bearers will be Louis Metts, Jerry Metts, Ronny Shy, Murrell Metts, Franklin Burmback and Billy Metts. Friends may call at the Chapel.
