Peggy is survived by four children; Barbara and Bruce Capron, Westernville, NY; Kathryn and Paul Cooley, Southport NC; Richard and Sasha Stafford, Spencerport NY; Carolyn and James Kennedy, Canandaigua NY; 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Peggy was predeceased by husband, Raymond W Stafford in 2013 and two brothers, Edward Smith and L Robert Smith and one sister, Virginia Benedict. Born in Willsboro NY on Mar 20 1931 to L Foster and Cora Culver Smith; she graduated from Willsboro Central School in 1949 and a 1953 graduate of Albany State University and received a Master of Science from Potsdam State University in 1971. Peggy was a retired teacher.
