Marriage - Patchogue, Dec. 5- A fashionable wedding was celebrated at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, on Rider Avenue, last night. It was a white chrysanthemum wedding, those flowers and palms being the predominant decorations. The contracting parties were Miss Margaret Emma Edwards, the only daughter of the late Edward Edwards, and John Osborne Stafford, of Baltimore, Md. The Rev. J. W. Diggles, rector of St. Paul's performed the ceremony, Dr. L.S. Edwards, brother of the bride, gave her away, and Frank Gately of Baltimore, acted as best man. The bride wore a gown of white French tissue trimmed with chiffon and duchess lace and wore a tulle veil caught with pearls and carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums. There were no attendants to the bride. The ushers were Charles Morris of Baltimore, Welsey Pollock of Brooklyn and Joseph Lossee and William Smith of Patchogue. Miss Anna R. Smith, organist of the Methodist Episcopal Church, was at the organ and played the wedding march from "Lohengrin". After the ceremony, the wedding party adjourned to Roe's Hotel, where a reception was held. Mr. and Mrs. Stafford will remain at Patchogue for a few days, when they will visit Philadelphia and Washington, and upon their return will take up residence at Baltimore, where Mr. Stafford is a member of the firm I.M. Parr & Son. An at home reception will be held at Baltimore in January. The late Edward Edwards built the Episcopal church in which the ceremony took place, and the bride came from Baltimore for the purpose of honoring the church and her father's memory.
