Mr. Hager had been connected with the Paintsville Grocery Company for many years. Following his marriage to Miss Margaret Auxier in 1916, the couple lived in Detroit, Mich., where Mr. Hager was employed as an office executive by the Packard Motor Company. Later, Mr. Hager engaged in the grocery business in Florida beore returning to Paintsville to take up his duties with the Paintsville Grocery Company. Born in Salyersville, Mr. Hager was brought to Paintsville at an early age by his parents, Colonel and Mrs. DeMilton Hager. His father, Colonel Hager died March 2, 1934. As a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church, Mr. Hager took an active part in church affairs and was a member o the choir for many years at the Mayo Memorial Church. Mr Hager had been taken to to a Huntington hospital were he stayed several days, but he was brought back home three weeks ago. Surviving are his wife and two children, Miss Helen Hager and Jack Hager; his mother, Mrs. Ida L. Hager, Paintsville; two sisters, Mrs. Alexander Cameron, Paintsville; Mrs. Tobe Vaughan, Jenkins and a brother, DeMilton Hager, Cincinnati; half brother, Paul C.
