Several years ago the deceased was kicked on the head by a horse, which is thought caused his death. Rev. C. Cole held religious services at the home of Mr. Stafford Sunday afternoon, after which the body was deposited in the family burying ground near John Smith's, about 2 1/2 miles from town.
