Mr. Stafford was born Dec. 5, 1921, in Greenville, a son of Jesse L. and Gertrude Frye Stafford.
He was a 1939 graduate of Greenville High School.
Mr. Stafford retired in 1986 from Ivor J. Lee Co., where he was a pilot for 15 years. Previously he worked as a pilot with the former Yobe Electric, Sharon; T. Bruce Campbell Construction, West Middlesex; and Kirila Contractors, Brookfield. He was a private pilot for William Campbell Jr. and William Campbell Sr.
With his wife, Mr. Stafford owned and operated Stafford Cleaners in Sharpsville from 1948-68.
He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Sharon, and Sharpsville Service Club for more than 50 years, where he was a Santa Claus helper. He was also a member for more than 50 years of Free and Accepted Masons R.W. Grand Lode.

A decorated veteran of World War II, Mr. Stafford served with the U.S. Army Air Corps and was stationed in Africa for three years with the Army Airways Communication Division.
He enjoyed playing the bass guitar and was a member of the Jerry Edwards Band for 10 years.
He is survived by: his wife of 66 years, the former Betty Dickson: sons, Brian and his wife Martha; and Douglas; and grandchildren, Ben and his wife Sarah; Maggie and her husband Okan; and Holly. Two great-grandsons, Max and Tyler, brought him great joy in recent years.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother; and a son, J. Bruce Stafford.

Harold Stafford, Jr., age 77, of Climax, MI died Friday, July 15, 2016 peacefully at home. 

Interment of his ashes will be Monday, July 25 at 2:30 PM at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta. 
A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, July 31 at the Climax American Legion, beginning at 3 PM. 
Harold was born on December 4, 1938 to Harold and Irene (Bush) Stafford, Sr., who preceded him in death. 
He leaves behind his wife of 40 years, (removed)Stafford, his three children, (removed)(spouse) Stafford, (removed) Stafford, and (removed)(spouse) Stafford III to cherish his memory. 
He has several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were dear to him.

Services for Mrs. Barnett will be at 2:00pm on Friday, October 4, 2013, at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home. Reverend David Smith will officiate and will be assisted by John Thornbury. Burial will be in Frankfort Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, October 3, 2013.
She was born in Franklin County on February 18, 1924, and was the daughter of the late Raymond Lee and Pinkie Mae Brawner Stafford. She was a retired employee of Kentucky State Government and Union Underwear. Mrs. Barnett was a charter member of Bellepoint Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Darlyne Wright (R.C.), Frankfort and Carol Maupin, Lexington; grandsons, John Cummins (Christa), Summerfield, AL and Gene Todd Wright (Kelli) Lawrenceburg; four great grandchildren; and special caregiver, Linda Tincher, Frankfort.
John Cummins, Todd Wright, Martin Luther, Kevin Luther, Curtis Smoot, and Michael Harrod will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Stafford, 88, of Charlotte, NC, passed away Saturday , the 28th of June 2014 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House at Southminster. 
Harry was born in Mecklenburg County, NC on Monday, the 20th of July 1925, the son of the late Arthur Moore Stafford and Rachel Caldwell Stafford. He was a lifelong, faithful member and Elder of Robinson Presbyterian Church and was retired from his business, Stafford Nursery and Landscaping. 
A service to celebrate the life of Harry Stafford will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, the 1st of July 2014 at Robinson Presbyterian Church with The Reverend Amy Busiek officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery after which the family will greet friends in the church Fellowship Hall. 
Mr. Stafford was preceded in death by his wife, Tommie Culler Stafford and his six sisters. He is survived by his two children; son, Jimmy Stafford and wife, Jamie and his daughter, Cindy Parker; four grandchildren: Jessica Johnson and husband, Tommy, Molly Parris and husband, Jeremy; Josh Parker and wife, Matty, ; Kit Parker and wife, Magan; five great-grandchildren and his faithful dog, Cody. 
Harry will be remembered by many friends and family members for great visits on his porch and for being an always loyal and helpful friend.
