She was born August 13, 1919 in Forsyth Co. to the late Leo Olivet and Zella Williard Whicker. Virginia was a member of Sedge Garden United Methodist Church, the Loyal Wesley Sunday School Class, and the Lady Buggs; and had retired from Kayser-Roth after many years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her two grandsons, Jacob Lance Riddle and Link David Riddle; and one son-in-law, Gwyn David Riddle. Surviving are one daughter, Sandra Stafford Riddle of Yadkinville; two grandchildren, Tina Riddle Baity and husband Jeffrey Wayne, and Zane David Riddle and wife Felicia Bennett Riddle all of Yadkinville; five great-grandchildren, Taylor Alexzandra Baity, Gabriel Lance "Tanner" Baity, Zachariah "Beau Tucker" Baity, Connor Gwyn Riddle, Kaylyn Bennett Riddle; three brothers, Paul, Leo, and Joe Whicker all of Kernersville. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Sedge Garden United Methodist Church with the Rev. Patricia Lewis and Rev. Doug Watts officiating. Higginbotham; four brothers, Eugene, Fred, Junior and Robert Stafford; and his first wife, Polly Stafford. He was a member of French's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, was a retired steel worker from L.T.V. Steel, Cleveland, Ohio an was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Betty Hooser Stafford; four sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Sherry Stafford, Leslie and Terrie Stafford, Fred and Debbie Brumfield and John Rainie of Cleveland, Ohio; three daughters and sons-in-law, Loretta and Christopher Reeves, Lindside, W.Va., Brenda and Tim Barker, Melissa and Mike Lawson of Greensboro, N.C.; one brother, Basil Stafford, Herndon; three sisters, Mary Ann Stafford and Frieda VanKeuren of Pearisburg, Janice Robertson, Greensboro, N.C.; three sisters-in-law, Jean M.
